The 2009 rally season has begun, and Vance & Hines is charging out of the gate with a huge customer-directed effort to support the best motorcycle events around the country. To start off the year, Vance & Hines brought out two semi-truck displays to Daytona Bike Week, one at Bruce Rossmeyer’s Destination Daytona Harley-Davidson and a second at the Daytona International Speedway.
Vance & Hines has been supporting Destination Daytona since Bike Week 2006. It is, without a doubt, the must-see spot for Harley enthusiasts at the event. And with the addition of a second location at the Speedway, where the AMA Supercross and Daytona 200 take place, Vance & Hines added the ideal venue to showcase its brand new line-up of off-road and sportbike exhaust systems to the race-going public.
At the Speedway location, Vance & Hines customers were able to see and hear the new line of CS-One slip-on mufflers installed on select Sportbike models like the Suzuki Hayabusa and Kawasaki ZX-14. Constructed of stainless steel and formed into a trapezoidal canister, the CS-One slip-ons are available with either a polished or black ceramic finish. Best of all, Vance & Hines carried over its winning formula of partnering with local dealers to do installs right at the track.
Back at Destination Daytona, the crowds were as large and enthusiastic as ever throughout the ten-day long Bike Week event; hopefully a sign of a strong year for the motorcycling community. And the big hit at the Vance & Hines show truck at Destination Daytona had to be the new Power Duals header for 2009 Harley-Davidson Touring models.
Designed specifically for the new 2009 chassis, Power Duals feature an exotic Power Chamber crossover encased in a beautifully contoured heat shield, giving the motorcycle an undeniable custom look. Within the opening weekend of Bike Week, Destination Daytona had sold out of the new Power Duals, affirming consumer opinion that this is the must-have addition for any new Touring bike.
For 2009, Vance & Hines will continue to increase its participation and support at a greater variety of motorcycle events, from dealer open houses and bike nights to full blown rallies like Sturgis. The next event for the Vance & Hines Show Truck will be the Laughlin River Run, April 22nd through 26th.
