For the first time, the Vance & Hines Show Truck made its way up through the High Sierras to “the biggest little city in the world”, Reno, Nevada for Street Vibrations. Centered in the heart of downtown against the backdrop of gambling casinos, Street Vibrations brings the excitement of a full-blown motorcycle rally into a truly unique urban setting.

Attendance at Street Vibrations this year was outstanding, thanks in part to having great weather each day of the rally. Riders from the San Francisco Bay Area rolled over the mountain passes of the Sierras by the thousands to check out the vendors and concerts at the event. But in addition to the partying and gambling, there are some fantastically scenic roads for riding in the neighboring mountain areas, like Lake Tahoe.

Another thing that distinguishes the crowd in this part of the country is their perception of the 2-into-1. When you look at the bikes that come out to Reno, you see a lot of 2-into-1 exhaust systems. There is clearly a strong understanding that 2-into-1s mean performance. And for these customers, Vance & Hines had on display it’s latest 2-into-1 the Pro Pipe Hi-Output. Finished in black ceramic and featuring stepped headers and a stepped megaphone; it’s a menacing look that makes serious power for big twin engines.

In addition to the Show Truck display, Vance & Hines teamed up with local Drag Specialties dealer Street Rider of Reno, who came to the event stocked up with Vance & Hines product and provided installation service right next to the Vance & Hines truck on Virginia Street in front of the Silver Legacy Casino.

While the rally season may be winding down, there’s no rest for the Vance & Hines Show Truck as it is making its way down to Las Vegas Harley-Davidson on Eastern Avenue for Vegas Bikefest happening Thusday, October 1 through Sunday, October 4.
