Vance & Hines is in search of a motorcycle enthusiast to become part of our Fuelpak/Electronics Department as a Product Specialist.
The primary duty of the Product Specialist is to ensure a positive customer experience by fielding and guiding development of the Electronics Product Line. The Product Specialist will be responsible for analyzing customer comments and use that information to form strategies for improvement and growth of the product. This will include, but is not limited to, writing and editing user instructions, specifying web based information, recommending tracking parameters, training tech service personnel, documenting installation procedures, suggest and recommend electronics projects etc. In addition, this person will track, weekly, monthly, and yearly sales figures for the electronics product line and report that information. In order to effectively carry out all essential job functions, this person must be acutely aware of the motorcycle industry and its trends. The Product Specialist is the go to person for product expertise and will play a key role in new product development. Occasional travel to industry events may be required.
In order to gain first hand knowledge of the Electronics Product Line, the Product Specialist will learn and exercise the duties of the Fuelpak Tech Support Representative until enough experience is established to offer well informed ideas for product development.

Required Experience:
Must have a strong motorcycle background
Must have professional experience in motorcycle industry.
Knowledge of basic engine operation.
Formal experience in electronics.
EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) knowledge.
AFR (Air/Fuel Ratio) knowledge and understanding.
Knowledge of fuel management systems
